(5) I Approve

To keep it short and sweet, the apartment was really nice. I could definitely see myself living there next semester, so I think I'm just going to go ahead and sign the lease. My mom thinks its a good idea too, so it looks like I'll be living in an apartment next year after all.

The apartment itself is actually quite small, but the bedrooms are a good size. Its very clean and looks relatively new. It has in-unit laundry, allows pets (though we won't be getting any), has carpet, and even a newly renovated kitchen. Its awesome. It comes unfurnished, so I'm gonna have to hit up some mad garage sales this summer.

I met Katie, and she seems really nice too. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope it all works out for the best!

The apartment complex (Silvertree) is running some sort of special on apartments as of right now, and if we sign the lease by this Sunday, nearly $500 worth of charges (like the security deposit and all that) are going to be waived. Katie's parents seem to have an issue with her signing the lease 5 months early, so that might be a bit of a problem if not all of us can sign on time. But if it means saving $500, I don't see why anyone would make a big deal about it.

So I have to touch base with them tomorrow and give them my final word, and.... it shall go from there!

Other than that, it was just a typical day. I'm off to bed. Ta ta!
